ColdFusion 8 comes with some very nice new PDF features. The PDFUtils CFC contains methods meant to extend and expand the native PDF features.

Currently the CFC supports these methods:

getExtraInfo - Returns additional information about the PDF (compared to the cfpdf/GetInfo action).

GetText - This will return the text of the PDF.

GetPage - This will return a page from the PDF. ColdFusion 8 supports deleting pages, but not getting pages.

readXMP - read XMP data from a PDF.

writeXMP - write XMP data to a PDF (along with many utility methods)
